My Story

Hi, I’m Anju, a mum, a leader, lecturer and a qualified coach.

My passion is to make a difference in the lives of my clients, empowering them to tap into their potential and thrive, this includes equity, diversity, and inclusion. As a woman of colour and having experienced bias, I use my voice to broaden understanding, challenge the status quo and develop the confidence of clients women who find themselves in this negative space.

I am a Londoner, and love the city I was born in.  I love my children, connecting with them is my favourite thing to do. I love being their mum, motherhood has trained me in a holistic way; I would not be the woman I am today without them.  I am a divorcee, navigating the complexities of a consumer relationship has taught me a lot. I meet women who are in the position I once found myself in, it is my joy to support these wonderful women. I have a deep faith, writing and singing spiritual songs is a large part of my life. Walking helps me to decompress and reconnect with myself after a long day.  I like to do Pilates to keep fit and I pray, journal and practice breathing to stay balanced.

I come from a background in IT, Training and Education, and I have developed my coaching skills while working with leaders and managers in all sectors. I help coachees develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours they need to lead and manage their teams effectively. I teach groups of students and work one-on-one with coaching clients. I find it rewarding to see clients unlock their full potential and thrive in their chosen fields, I have led projects and teams in various roles. I also give back through volunteering, including leading a team of fellow volunteers for a charity in London.

In recent years, I have been lecturing and coaching leaders and managers in the apprenticeship space, working with CMI and CIPD qualifications. I have achieved some great results, including impressive pass rates and service improvements through many projects that I have influenced through my coaching practice.  For example, a coachee implemented a whole organisation career framework, opening up career development for all and retaining the organisation’s best talent. Another coachee improved the flow of patients in the hospital that she worked for.

In 2021, I took a significant step in my coaching journey by completing the Level 5 Coaching Professional Apprenticeship. With all that experience under my belt, I decided it was time to set up my own coaching practice.  Anju Christina Coaching opened for business in October 2023.
